Flow Text within attachment

Hello All,

I've searched throughout the forum for a similar question but could not find one. We receive an email from a vendor that has an attached .txt document with results of data load. The name of the document is just the timestamp and cannot be used for an Outlook Rule, which is why we are looking into Flow for a solution. We desire to look into the .txt document and look for the word 'ERROR'. If that condition is true, it will move the email to our Errors folder within our inbox. If it is not true, it will be deleted. We are getting many of these emails and only want to open those that have errors reported. Is this possible in flow?

Hi Handy_Crabs,

I created a flow looks like below to try to move email with attachment which contains a word “Error”:

error1.PNG

But when I ran the flow, I always got an error message “Invalid Template” and the flow failed. So I guess it maybe not possible to look for a word within the email attachment.

May I suggest you submit an idea at Flow Ideas Forum so it might be considered as a future release:

I will also report this feature request from my side and confirm from my side and back to you once I got any updates.

Best regards,
Mabel Mao
