I need help creating a flow where it pulls from a SharePoint site document library and looks at a calculated column NextReviewDate (this column is calculated depending on if it is a General or Critical procedure with the review timings being different, hence the need for a calculated column). I want to run a daily flow that looks at the NextReviewDate column and sends an email if that date is within 30 days from today.
My flow starts with a Recurrence (set to Interval 1, Frequency Day). It works.
2nd section is a Get Items (which pulls the list from SharePoint).
3rd section is Apply to Each, which takes the SharePoint Value and applies a condition. It is this Condition section that I can't get to work. Please help!
The last section is send an email if the Condition is met, which I have figured out.

Hi @charrison ,
Please try to add Compose above condition to output NextReviewDate and use formatDateTime() function to format the output of Compose, then fill it in Conditions. Like:
Hope this helps.

Hi!
Let's start with the basics. Can you share a screenshot from your current flow design?
THe more context info we have, the faster we can suggest a good proposal
THanx!

Edited the original post to include photos. Thanks!
Not with my laptop... can you try the following instead?
formatDateTime(addDays(utcNow(),30),'yyyy/MM/dd')
Also apply the same format 'yyyy/MM/dd' in the first expression you currently assigned in the Condition (formatDateTime..)
With this format, we make sure 2020/12/15 is less than 2021/09/09
With the format you currently have ('MM/dd/yyyy'), I am afraid 12/15/2019 is greater than 09/09/2021
Finally, how many items do you have in your SP list?
If more than 100, please increase your 'GEt items' Top Count input
Thanx!

Best Regards,
@v-bacao-msftthis worked! Thanks so much! I do have one more question. I have this flow running daily so assume this flow will send an email every single day until the date is changed on the site (and the NextReviewDate is no longer within 30 days). I don't want folks to get an email every single day, so would it be better to have it run every 7 days so they only get an email once a week or is there a better way?
Hi!
Approaches are almost enless.
Option#1: replace your condition operator 'less or equals' and use 'equals' instead. THen add morecondition rules (relationship between all of them via OR operator) so you evaluate if 30 days are left, or 23 days are left, or 16 days are left or...
BTW, I've seen you marked this topic as solved. Thanks for your kindness!
This way other community members facing this same problem in the future have the chance to find a solution faster.
Now, my humble suggestion for next steps:
1.- Open a new thread for your next question, following the policy: 'One Question, one post'. MAny SuperUsers pay more attention to unanswered topics, and this one already have too many. Let's hope somebody else can point us to the right direction
2.- (OPTIONAL) Click on 'Thumbs up' in any answer you found valuable.... or even to all of them
Even though this 2nd step is OPTIONAL, please remember it is the cheapest, easiest way to say thanks to somebody that simply tried to help. And just between you and me, everytime an inspiring answer receive a kudo, an ewok escapes from The Emperor menace 😉
Thanx for your contribution to keep this community great!
