Flow from Form to Planner - Bucket assignment based on reporter

Hi

I'm looking to build a flow that takes a form and inputs the information in the form into a task in a planner. My problem is that i want to send the task to a specific bucket based on the form responder user email.

Form reporter is

zzz@yyy.com -> Bucket zzz

rrr@yyy.com -> Bucket rrr

Any suggestions?

In principle yes, i already have a condition to sort the form into 3 different planners. I have 6 responders that will complete this form many times, would like to avoid setting up 6X3 create task actions. Was hoping it would be possible with a IF function in the bucket field...

@FH1000 So once you select 1 out of the 3 different planners, you have 6 possible responders and 6 related buckets, right?

Maybe you can:

Step#1: initialize a new array variable: a custom array to declare all the possible combinations:

[[responder#1,bucket#1],[responder#2,bucket#2],[responder#3,bucket#3]...]

Step#2: apply to each (item in your array)

Step#2.1: condition inside the apply to each: does responder from Form equals responder from current item [first(item())]? If yes create the task using last(item()) as the bucket name.

Hope this helps

Hi @FH1000,Annotation 2019-05-23 163149.png

As you can see from the screenshot, the Bucket ID is composed of irregular characters, so it is recommended that you store the Bucket ID in SharePoint to make changes, as shown in the image below:

After you create the SharePoint list, you can create a flow just like this:

Please have a try with it, and I hope it will help you.
