I have been working on a MS FLOW that I can't seem to get quite right.
Here is the process I have in mind:
Everything seems to work well through #3 above. However, #4 and #5 never occur. Also, if at all possible, I would like to simplify #3 seems to be cumbersome for a school administrator who does not spend a lot of time in Sharepoint and Flow.
I'm open to suggestions. Thank you in advance for your help!

Hi @RobertPC77 I hope you're feeling better. Not a problem, I've been jetting around the UK so I've not been able to get back on until now either.
The Create File action will generate an ETag which will appear in the dynamic content. So when the Set Approval requests an ETag, you can take the ETag dynamic content from Create File 2. This cleared the error for me.
Hi @RobertPC77 what actually happens when you Flow is running? Does it show as success or skipped for those last steps? Or does it just not move on from the Approval action?
Hi @MattWeston365 - Thank you for inquiring!
What actually happens is that the nothing ever happens following the Approval of the Reviewer. The result of the Approval never shows in the Approval Status column in the SP site. Nor does a notification go out to the Registrar to begin the next step in the Process.
Thank you for your help!
@MattWeston365 It shows that it did not succeed. There is no other condition or action before the update to the Sharepoint List.
Hi Matt, I'm sorry I haven't gotten back sooner...Thank you for your patience! I went home sick yesterday, but am feeling much better now!
Here is a pic of the Run I did yesterday. The problem may be with the lack of an Etag. Last week, I tried inserting an Etag, but I kept running into errors when I tried to insert the SP, get Metafile data Action. I believe this is what I need in order to draw an Etag from.
Hi @RobertPC77 if you take the ETag dynamic content from your Create File 2 action then the approval should start to work. Have you also enabled Content Approval on the SharePoint Document library itself?
@MattWeston365 Hi Matt! I'm sorry it has taken me so long to reapond. I had Medical Appointments scheduled yesterday.
When you refer to removing the ETag info from the Create File 2, do you mean removing the info in the File Content area? I see no other content that resembles ETag information.
The Sharepoint Library does have Content Settings Approval required turned on.
Thank you for your assistance!

It worked as you said. I think the issue I was having was somewhere I read that I had to put in a Sharepoint - Get the Metadata action. However, I have learned from the error of my ways!
Thank you, Mr. Weston! You have helped me for a second time!
@MattWeston365 Hi again!
We ran the Flow this morning...a real student completed the Application in MS Forms. I got the notification as well as the lady who is the Primary Reviewer. When she selects the student's name in the email, it opens up in the FLOW Approvals Center. She is then to select the link to the student file and see it in the Sharepoint site.
Problem: The Primary Reviewer does not see the student in the Sharepoint Site. I log in to the Sharepoint Site and I can see it, but she is not able to see the new entry in the Document Library.
Could I be missing a setting, maybe in Sharepoint versioning?
