Flow not listed in "Run a Child Flow" step

Why is my "parent" flow not listed in this "Run a Child Flow" step?

The flows listed I have remove from solutions and don't see them in the "default" solution either.  Why?

  • I have read the Call Child Flows article.
  •  My parent was moved over from "Flows"
    • I made a copy of it in "Flows".
    • I temporarily replaced the "Manually trigger a flow" trigger.
    • Inside "Solutions" I used "Add Existing"-->"Flow"--> "Outside Solutions" to bring it in to my solution.
    • Therefore, the parent is in the solution.  It also
      • Starts with "Manually trigger a flow" (I switched it back once brought into the solution.)
      • It ends with "Respond to a PowerApp or Flow"
      • Inside "Solutions" I used "New"-->"Flow" to begin to create the Parent flow.
        • Added a "Manually trigger a flow" step.
        • Added "Run a child flow" step but my parent is not in the list."
        • The flows that show in the list which were previously remove from the solution.

          Why?

          Thank you.

Solution.

The "Run a Child Flow" action only shows flows that:

- Are in the same solution

- Are turned ON.  (This was my problem)

- And, I believe, must start with a manual trigger.

- And, maybe, must have a ending "respond to a power app or flow" step

@Paul_Iowa You are correct. And yes, they have to have a respond step, otherwise flow checker fails.
