Flow triggers with past actions

I have a flow where the trigger is a new email. I disabled this flow for some days while I was doing other work and during those days I received several emails.
I thought that if I disable the flow then the flow will never trigger for the emails I received while the flow was off. But what happened is that, as soon as I enabled the flow, it started to run for all those emails that I received in previous days while the flow was off.

It seems the triggers were somehow stored and queued somewhere. This is not the behaviour that I need.

Please, what can I do so that after I turn on the flow it will not start running for the triggers that happened while the flow was off?

Hi @nanci ,

Yes, as you said, the flow would start to run for all those emails that you received in previous days while the flow was off, and there is no any way to stop the running for the triggers that happened while the flow was off.

If you don't want the flow to trigger for past action, I'm afraid that the only way is delete the trigger in the flow by update the trigger if you want to turm off the flow, and you could add the trigger back again if you want to turn on the flow.

Thanks for your reply @v-alzhan-msft .
I have another question, What will happen if I delete the emails before I turn on the flow? Will the flow still execute for those emails?
