I'm having troubles in genereating the flows as follows:
Item is updated / uploaded (trigger)
Create a calendar event picking the info from a "date" column of the same item.
The issues i have are:
My flows right now looks as follows:
Please note that i've been forced to add the "apply to each" because otherwise i get an error from the even trigger.
And I had to add the "get item" because otherwise the "apply each" would not work.
Thank you in advance.
I think the first issue you encountered should be that when a new file is uploaded or created, your Flow will also trigger.
You could configure the Condition action to add a judgment. If Created is equal to Modified, then this file is newly created. The file does not execute the following action.
In addition, Flow currently does not support monitoring the properties of a specific file to be changed. If you want to the feature that you mentioned to be supported in Microsoft Flow, please submit an idea to Flow Ideas Forum:
I've tried your suggestion but still, when I update (modify) one Item, it's created a new event for each file in the library.
I need a condition that somehow select only the latest updated file and create the event ONLY for the latest file updated (modified), that is also the one that starts the trigger.
I've thought to create a condition like if the date modified equals today, then create event, yet this is not optimal because if I modify more than one file per day, it is going to create more than an event for the same item.
Any suggestion how to proper create the right condition?
