For a selected item - Add an output - Make not required?

Hello,

When using "Add an output" from within "For a selected item", the items are required. Is it possible to not require these items? E.g.

 

The items below(Message, Date to complete, Input #1) are all required when I run the flow:

This is required for the end user...

Is this the only way (Editing JSON files etc)? If so I will go that route but want to make sure first.

There is no "out of the box" way to make any of the Outpus that have been added optional.  While the technique that is discussed in the post you have cited will likely work, I suspect that it is not a supported option.

 

This sounds like something that you may want to suggest as a Flow Idea.
