Form Response Details to Excel - Formatting

Hello. I have a Form with a couple of Multi-Select options. I am pumping these responses into an Excel file (and eventually a Word to PDF), however i am running into a formatting issue. When i add the dyanmic content selction to the table column in the Power Automate Flow for "Add a row into a table" the multi-select questions have a ["response"] around each response answer.

How can i remove the ["..."] from the responses when they are added to excel/and or emails as it messes up the formatting and text selection for further steps.

Re: Form Response Details to Excel - Formatting

Hi @jmwinters ,

You could take a try with the Parse JSON action and get each option with an apply to each, and you could combine the options with the comma.

{
    "type": "array",
    "items": {
        "type": "string"
    }
}

Best regards,

Re: Form Response Details to Excel - Formatting

You could use replace expression

replace('["Hello"]','[','')

Here the result will be "Hello"]

Next you need to use another replace expression to remove other characters and so on.

You could do all in one go as follows:

replace(replace(replace('["Hello"]','[',''),']',''), '"', '')

Please see below.
