Forms Flow adding Double items sharepoint

Hi All

I wonder if i could ask for some help?

After watching some video tutorials i have created a MS Form that creates a new item in a sharepoint list,  which then connects to Approval once answered it should update the sharepoint list item but!!

I seem to keep getting 2 items inserted into sharepoint list which then creates an issue with the update.

I read this post but i dont want to build it again 😞 even though its simple.

Thanks inadvance for help 🙂

Gary

Hi there - Can you show the screenshot from the SP list?  (Specifically looking for the Title column...just to get a feel for how this is translating).  Also, a screenshot of run data (in and out) from the last step (Update Item) would be helpful.

Keep at it!

Hi Ed (i assume :))

I ran my form and this is the first four columns of my share point after running flow

Capture6.JPG

Submit No is the Title column and number 8 was the test run this morning 9(0845 UK time)

This has added 2 entries. I just noticed that the second entry has no email address.

Then the Approval is sent to an email address for accept or decline.

The return adds then Approval status and the comments to the sharepoint entry which it does 🙂

It is definately the first part of the flow which is inserting the first entry 😞

Thanks Gary
