Forms Pro / Issue when I set the SurveyID to be sent based on previous steps in Flow

Hi everyone,

I have configured multiple employee performance Surveys in Forms Pro, according to different employee's jobs. (E.g. one survey for Accountant, another for Sales manager, etc.)

I notices the different Survey ID in each form's URL.

I'd like to create an automate flow to distribute all the surveys, once in a flow, having an employee list as an input. We've decided to create custom entity, which will contain two fields - Job Id and Survey Id, to choose the dedicated survey for particular job once the flow is triggered.

But when I try to set survey Id in "Create invitation link" action, as a flow output from previous step (and not pick it up from drop-down list) - the flow doesn't work. Even though, I've checked, that if you specify the survey Id from a lookup, this action still use the Id as in input.

I notices as well, that you can't specify the survey Id manually (w\o lookup). The same problem is shown.

"ErrorMessage": "Required data form id and email id XXX is not valid ".

These values are specified.

Is there any possibility to achieve that?

Any help appreciated,

Thanks in advance!

P.S. I've also noticed that Create invitation link action in Flow doesn't shown me the list of context variables, which might be different for each survey. It looks logical because Flow doesn't know upfront which survey will be picked up. But it might be helpful to specify it for available variables for different surveys upfront (from previous flow step). In our case its always job description and employee's name, whose performance is evaluated.

Re: Forms Pro / Issue when I set the SurveyID to be sent based on previous steps in Flow

Hi @NormanYuits1,

Yes, it is possible to enter a custom value of survey ID into the Create an invitation, for example:

 You can get these Form ID by clicking the Survey detail, then you can get the Survey ID in the address bar:

@NormanYuits1

Hi there.  Have you already tried clicking on "Enter Custom Value"?  That should give you the opportunity to put in the survey id.

Hope this helps.  Please keep us posted.
