Get Azure AD Group from Flow

Hi,

I am new using Flow and I am realizing a PoC which main goal is to create a Teams Channel and Planner for a project when an item is added in a Project list in SharePoint.

I have the following columns in the project list:

  1. Title
  2. Code
  3. Manager (person/group field)
  4. Team (person/group field) ----------> O365 group.

I want to create a Teams Channel with the default Teams connector action, but one of its parameters is 'Teams Id' which must be a GUID, generally it is the O365 group ID, for this reason I want to get the Id of O365 from the Team field value in the sharepoint list before setting the 'Team ID' in the 'Teams - Create Channel' action.

I wonder for a little help, it is very urgent.

Kindest regards.

Re: Get Azure AD Group from Flow

Hi TokiotaAdmin,

Are you trying to create a channel in Microsoft Teams?

To create a channel, we are asked to include a Team Id.

According to your description, I create a list which has a column for Office 365 Group(Person or Group field).

Then when I try to create a flow to create a channel in Microsoft Teams using the Office 365 Group Id, I found that there is no available dynamic content can be used to get the Group Id.

I guess that Group Id is not supported currently.

Please consider to create a request at Flow Ideas Forum, hope PGs will take it into consideration in the future releases.
