Hi all,
I have a flow that on occurence checks a SharePoint Document library for a file and gets it's contents.
I'm able to create an email and attach the file to that email no problem however as the document is a Word document I'd like to extract the text from the file and insert it to the body of the email.
My flow runs but I just get special characters from the dynamic content onwards.
Hope you can help.
Scott

Hi @scotth82,
I have made a test on my side, and I afraid that there is no any way to get file content from a Word document in sharepoint library.
I afraid that there is no way to achieve your needs in Microsoft Flow currently.
If you would like this feature to get file content from a Word document to be added in Microsoft Flow, please submit an idea to Flow Ideas Forum:
https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/Flow-Ideas/idb-p/FlowIdeas
As an alternative way, you could save the document as a text file instead of a Word document in sharepoint, and the you could get the file content from the dynamic content.
Best regards,
Alice

Thanks Alice.
What about for pdf's?
I'm having a rough time getting pdf content to show up the body of the email. Is that possible?
