Get Planner tasks from all channels in my Team

Hi,

I'm a newbie to Flow and MS Teams and need some help on creating a flow to automate a time consuming task.

I'm part of a Team with 18 different channels.  Each channel has its own To Do list that contains many different buckets, from Planner.  I need a flow that would generate a list of all unfinished tasks assigned to me and send me an email with the results, on a weekly basis.  Any ideas on how I could go about doing this?

Thanks for your assistance with this task.

Eric

Hi @Anonymous ,

It seems that MS Teams can't provide relevant task information, you could get your task directly in Planner task.

Try using List my tasks action, which gets all the tasks assigned to you, no matter which group or channel you are in.

I did a test on my side, please try the following method to create a Flow.

  • Use Recurrence as the trigger, set to run Flow every week.
  • Configure List my tasks action to get all the tasks assigned to it, and configure Filter array to filter out the unfinished tasks.
  • Configure Select action to select the data that needs to be displayed in the HTML table.

Expression reference:

replace(body('Create_HTML_table'),'<table>','<table border="1">')

Please take a try.
