Get Tables file error Not supported file format & file corrupted error

I have a flow that I am trying to build. The goal is to have the end user update a budget by selecting a file anywhere in SharePoint. Once selected a generic file, identical in form to all budget files in the system, is updated.

SharePoint Get Tables 1.PNG

From there I am trying to Get Tables. As you can see the table Location, Document Library, and File are all selected and not dynamic.

SharePoint Get Tables 2.PNG

This is where I receive the following errors:

Not supported file format. Please select another file.
clientRequestId: 335bd3d0-44ae-4030-9e83-55fda991c735
serviceRequestId: ea6c8640-8a42-4f51-8166-10c0c47ae373

Additionally, when I try to open the file I get the Cannot open the file 'Budget Updates.xlsx' because the file format or file extension is not valid.

I've also tried to just pull the information from the original file, as well as trying to save it to OneDrive.

Hi @AthenaDepper,

If you Get file content by using itemUrl and ID, the return file content couldn't be used in the Update file action directly.

You could use Get file properties action to get File identifier first, then use it to get file content, steps as below, please have a try:

Thank you.

Now if I wanted to get the file content from a dynamic library, is that possible yet?

Hi @AthenaDepper,

Yes, it is possible, you could enter the dynamic content by clicking the Enter Custom value:Screenshot 2020-10-16 154015.jpg

I know about the custom value option, but it doesn't work with Excel options. I've found tons of posts about the same issue and was just hoping the issue was resolved. Thanks anyway.
