Get User Profile (V2) - How to specify query

When I'm trying to use Get USer Profile (V2) to get a specific field in the user profile, I get the following error:

  "error": {
    "code": "BadRequest",
    "message": "Query option '$select' was specified more than once, but it must be specified at most once.",
    "innerError": {
      "request-id": "eedd1e5b-a610-405c-a38c-35035df7f6a0",
      "date": "2018-01-08T11:21:51"

What am I doing wrong here? I guess the query field is supposed to act as the $select. It doesn't matter what I write in the field - I keep getting the above error.

Any help with the syntax of the Query field in this action would be much appreciated.

Kind regards,

Peter Rundqvist

Hi @svp95bos,

Could you please share a screenshot of your flow's configuration?

The error message told that the query option '$select' was specified more than once within your "Get user profile (V2)" action. The issue is confirmed on my side.

I afraid that we could not use OData query in Select query field of "Get user profile (V2)" action to get the specific field, if you would like this feature to be added in Microsoft Flow, please submit an idea to Flow Ideas Forum:

This is how my sample flow looks like.The first image show the configuration (sorry, it is in swedish) while the second shows the result of the execution. The first action is simply a button action.

Kind regards,

Thanks for getting back. Does this mean that the query field in the "Get user profile (V2)" action isn't used? I can see that the action is still in preview.

Do you guys have any news about this issue?

I am working on a customer tenant and now "Get User Profile (v1)" is no more available. I am stucked with the v2 version which does not allow to specify which properties I want to retrieve.

Thank you,

Where did get user profile (v1) go to?

I actually had to give this up and use the Graph API instead.
