Get User Profile (V2) - NotFound

Hi,

I created a Ms. Forms in which the data feeds into SharePoint Lists.

In order to collect the user details who submitted the Ms. Forms, I have this action "Get User Profile (V2)" after "Get Response Details". However the flow isn't working right and it shows "NotFound".

Can anyone help?

Thanks in advance!

Hi @SK_Tan,

This means somebody replied to your form anonymously. So, this will mean you won't be able to identify a user profile for that person. Making the NotFound response a correct outcome 😉

You can fix this by checking the Record Name checkbox in the MS Form settings. But this will mean your form isn't anonymous anymore.

Hi @SK_Tan,

Just to double check. Have you configured your flow like in my example screenshot below, are you using the Responders' Email property for the lookup?

Have you checked that the value is not empty in the flow history btw?

Hi,

Thank you for your swift response.

You're right, I configured based on what you described.

I checked the history and the USer (UPN) shows "anonymous".

Hi,

Indeed my setting was "anyone can reply". However, I was the one who filled up the form, how could it not recognize my identity?

Hi @SK_Tan,

I mean, use the Only people in my organization can reply option. That option has a record name feature which you can enable.

The anyone can answer doesn't have this feature and responses will be anonymously.
