Get a row for excel located on sharepoint

Hey Community,

aiming to create a specific excel file in sharepoint, exported from a specific mail. So far so good, want to use "Get a Row" to actually get information out of the excel file and transform it into a dynamics record. The showstopper is the access to the Excel File via Get a Row - i received several error messages, depending on the entry in "Document Library". If i try to access to my sharepoint site, the drop down is just going for "documents", sharepoint site is connected to a Team, so would need the specific channel, that doesnt seem to be possible. So my thought was to use a value from "Create File in Sharepoint". I was choosing between "Path" and "FileLocator", both dont work and provide error messages:

"Path" : the syntax is just wrong, think the field expects another form of provision

"FileLocator" : th drive may be malfunctioned etc.

Anyone can help me out? Got a workaround for this?

Re: Get a row for excel located on sharepoint

Make sure the items you are parsing into the Get row step are in the proper syntax and format, see the Get row documentation to confirm.

Just looking at your screenshot, I'm fairly certain the issue is with the File Locator and DisplayName definitions you are parsing in are wrong. You may want to do a Get file properties action after the Create file if the correct definitions are not available.

Finally, I personally would not use a Get row from Excel due to it's severe known limitations and issues, I'd create a SharePoint list instead.

Hi @maxlettenbauer ,

Currently, dynamic content in Excel File and Table fields are not supported yet. Here is one of the similar request on Flow Ideas Forum, please vote and comment the idea at here:
