Flustered Flow User here...
I'm trying to get all messages from a Yammer group (namely the Topic and Message body), format as a table, then add the table in the body of an email and send out every Monday morning.
I can't seem to figure out how to get a nicely formatted table - do I need to write html or can I get a table w/o code? It doesn't need to be fancy, just readable.
Here's what I have so far, along with the email:
Obviously, the email is not a formatted table - what's the recipe??
Thanks in advance!!!
All what you have done are correct, just remember to enable Yes for the Is HTML field in the action Send an email. You will be able to get it by clicking the Show advanced options.
I have made the following flow, please take it for a reference.
After the action Get messages in a group, add action Select.
Then the action Create HTML table. Select value from the Output of Select. Here I have customized columns. To get Value for each field, use the code likes below:
Add the action Send an email, select the Output of action Create HTML table for the Body field, and make sure enable Yes for the Is HTML field.
Please try again with it and feel free post back if you need more help.
Thanks @v-yamao-msft Mabel!
So I thought I had IsHtml set as 'Yes' but when I checked, sure enough, it was not set.
However, I'm still not getting the desired result - i'm wondering if I'm not getting the formula right in the Create HTML Table step:
Here's the email output from the above Flow:
There is something wrong with the HTML table you created.
When creating the HTML table, we get value from the Output of the action Select. So we should get value from action Select but not Get messages in a group for each column.
Please try to configure value for Word column likes below:
I am not sure if Post in the Select action is just the same with Body you specified in Create HTML table action. If they are not the same, you may have to map a value for Body in the Select action frist.
Please let me know if you need more help.
thanks for the reply @v-yamao-msft,
I think i fixed the Value expressions in the Create HTML Table action:
Only thing now is the email is showing the html code!
I have ishtml selected in the Send Email action.
Any way to display display as rich text?
Thank you thank you
