Get item filter query on empty single line text/people picker column

Hello,

I am trying to using get item action on a sharepoint list by filtering empty columns. I have tried as mentioned in this post but get an error

My query expression : columnname eq null as menitoned in above post and i get an error message

The expression \"columnname eq\" is not valid

I also tried columnname eq 'null', I dont get any errors but I also get items that have a value in that column.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

I get an error message

Re: Get item filter query on empty single line text/people picker column

Hi @ck25415 ,

I tested ColumnName eq null on my side, which is valid for filtering fields of type Single line of text.

I guess the ColumnName you configured is incorrect. The ColumnName it need here is not necessarily the same as what you see in SharePoint List.

You could consider not configuring Filter Query first. After Get items action is executed, check the name of this field in Body, as below:

Then configure the Column Name displayed in Body in Filter Query.

Please take a try and let me know if issue still exists.
