Hello Flow Community!
I would like to ask you a question:
I want to get user response from ms form and this is pretty clear. I am interested in getting location (coordinates or address or even at least city/town/village) from where user submitted the form response.
As far as I am concerned only option with button trigger is available.
Do you know about any possible solution for that?
Hi @bryq3 ,
Please try to use the action provided in Bing Maps connector to get user's location.
Fill in the information submitted by the user in MS Forms as the basis for obtaining the location. The more appropriate here seems to be Get location by address action.
Please take a try.
Thank you for your reply. Im trying to do so with Bing Maps, however without any success so far. I am getting an error. Please see blow:
And here is the error:
Any comment? If you could provide any example how to use this connector would be perfect
You are not using the connector correctly. For the bing maps connector, you will have to provide the inputs (address or city or something) and based on that you will get the lat long.
Also, the location that you get from the flow input button, is your current location (current location of the user who triggered the flow) and not the location of the user who filled up the form.
You might want to have a location/ address field in your form to achieve this.
