Getting a GroupID for a planner plan in tasks

I can get a PlanID and a TaskIT in the actual planner item, what I can't see is the GroupID.  This is difficult as the URL for the planner task includes the GroupID.  With this I can add a link to my notification to allow me to get to the task from the notification.

Can anyone help me find this?

Re: Getting a GroupID for a planner plan in tasks

Hi @tre4bax,

There is no way to achieve GroupID for tasks of a Planner plan in Microsoft Flow currently, if you would like this feature to be added in Microsoft Flow, please submit an idea to Flow Ideas Forum:

https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/Flow-Ideas/idb-p/FlowIdeas

Best regards,

Kris

Re: Getting a GroupID for a planner plan in tasks

Checked this against different tenants,

in some tenants one could just send querystring-parameters for PlanId and TaskId and the card pops up.

- (when you close the card the "bottom"-page says the plan could not be found)

where other tenants just presents the page with the plan could not be found - no card info.

One workaround that worked for me was to send in a empty guid.

........&groupId=00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000

//Good luck 🙂

Re: Getting a GroupID for a planner plan in tasks

For those who come across this thread, Planner has been updated!

You can use this link:

https://tasks.office.com/monadel.onmicrosoft.com/EN-US/Home/Task/(TaskID) - no brackets for the task ID

Where after Task/ you put your task ID here. This gives a link to the Planner task in SharePoint (or wherever else you want it). No more empty Group IDs!

This is an old post but I thought I would reply in case anyone else stumbles on it.

The GroupID in Planner is the same as Teams/ Office365 Group ID it is attached to.
