Getting items from an Excel table and updating a SharePoint list

Hello all...

Can someone please take a look at my Flow below and let me know if you think I'm using the correct step (circled) if after the comparison in the filter query in the "Condition to Append or Replace" step, I want to get items from an Excel table and insert them in to my SharePoint list where those filter query conditions are met? Or would I need to use a step that gets items from Excel?

Hi @bchager,

Do you want to filter the items that are stored in an Excel table and insert them into a SharePoint list? If yes, you need to filter the Excel records, as SharePoint is your target not your source.

@Mari  Thanks for your response. Yes. What would you replace the SharePoint Get Items step with?

If you want to filter the items you have in the Excel table, you can add the Filter Query expression to the "List rows present in a table" action you already have.

@Mari  I really appreciate your help here. Should I move the Filter Query expression to the "List rows present in a table" action or add it and keep in both places? Also, will there be any impact to my flow by adding the Filter Query expression to the "List rows present in a table" action I already have given I'd be adding or moving it to an action before the "Condition to Append or Replace" step?
