Grab the appropriate bucket name for the filtered array

Hello everyone,

I have a flow here where I used this as a template:

https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/Building-Flows/Send-Email-Digest-of-all-open-Planner-Tasks-to-in...

I want to grab out the bucket names for each of the upcoming tasks assigned.

For example bucket 1 - assign task 1, bucket 2- assign task 2 : the email table would show

assign task 1     bucket 1

assign task 2     bucket 2

I have configured the flow to bring up the bucket name but it only brings up 1 bucket repeated for all the upcoming tasks even though tasks 2,3, and 4 were in a separate bucket.

Can anyone help me filter out the correct bucket name for each task?

Thank you

Hi!

I'm focusing on Task Name and Bucket Name, and skipped so far the requirements to filter certain tasks and provide Dates related info

So this is the way I overcome the 'print task name and bucket name' challenge

Flow_TaskBucketName.png

Works like a charm

Once achieved this, I would next add the skipped logic: i.e. filter target tasks and assign them as the input for your 'Apply to each' and add Date related attributes in the 'Append to array' action block

Please also note the following template can fit your needs, but a 'Filter array' based approach is considerably faster in terms of performance, specially if you have a high nr of tasks

Hi!

I would move 'Compose 2' and 'Set variable' from the false branch to the true branch

Hope this helps

Hello!

Thank you for your response. I only moved the Compose 2 and set variable to false because the conditional statement when running ended up false so the true branch was skipped.

Hi!

You mean.... is it working fine now, or the problem persists?

Thanx!

Hi sorry for the confusion -- The problem is still there.

The HTML results still show up only one of the buckets, not each task's appropriate bucket

Hi!
Can you share a screenshot from your new design, and explain which action block do the 'value' dynamic content you used so far come from? Just need to hover the mouse over each of them, and share the text displayed

Thanx!

Hello:

Here's a picture of the modified flow

I managed to grab all the bucket names in an array, but the result just duplicated all the bucket names without filtering and matching each bucket to the task 1.PNG2.PNG4.PNGInked3_LI.jpg

Hi. I tried your method but can't figure out how to add the filter body into the new Apply to Each :

Without trying to add the filter, the flow runs but doesn't separate the buckets with the task title:
