Hi sravankcm

What do you mean by group folders ? Do you mean select multi folder ?

At this moment, you can only select one folder for 'When a file is Created'.

Thanks

I think @sravankcm is refering to a O365 Group and it's associated file library.

As this kind of library is backed by a SharePoint site you need to add the SharePoint site of the group to your flow and instead of your OneDrive.

Yes, Thanks. I did see the group folder under sharepoint connection.

I am not familiar with sharepoint. I am trying to connect this folder which is below

what would be the folder ID for it ? The folder is already in the site URL

For the site I tried setting up for the Site URL I picked a path ending at /sites/<my-sitename>/Shared Documents this then gave me the option to pick the final part of the path using the ... button next to the Folder Id field.In your case you should be able to pick the LIMS WebApp folder

Hope you are able to achieve something similar!

I folllowed the instructionsI @Anonymous mentioned but not able to make it work.

When I click the ... on folder id

I get the below error for a group folder, I am getting

Access denied. You do not have permission to perform this action or access this resource.

When I try it on a personal folder, I get

{"error_description":"Exception of type 'Microsoft.IdentityModel.Tokens.AudienceUriValidationFailedException' was thrown."}

any thoughts ?

Also, a couple of group folders get displayed on the sharepoint connection but not the others.

As far I know they were createdthe same way, Not sure what to change to access these folders

Thanks @Anonymous

@sravankcm if you get access denied, probably, you use the sharepoint connection with different user.

Try to check footnote down in the connection "Connected to ***@***.com"

Does that account has access to your sharepoint folder / site ?

Yes. I am able to see a couple of groups when I drop down "Site URL*" under that account but I have a total of 5 groups under the same work account.

I am getting "access denied" on "..." for "folder id" for the folders I can see in the drop down above.

Do you have access for that folder to write ?

You can test it to upload/ write something on Sharepoint site directly.

if you still have a problem, give us your flow id, I will redirect this to a particular SPO connector team.

I created those groups and am the admin on them.

Would you mind send the diagnostic log, so that I can redirect this to particular team to investigate ?

hit "ctrl + alt + a" and send the detail to my email. kkurni@microsoft.com

@kkurni I can confirm I now have a related experience as @sravankcm see.

It works great with group files when they are initially added (so actually it's working for me - I just get some unexpected Activity list noise in the Flow management webpage)

- but after about ½ an hour I start to receive errors if I look at my Activity log for that flow. @kkurni should I PM you the ID of my flow and/or screenshot as well?

Here is the Body of the response for a failing run:

Body
{
  "status": 401,
  "message": "Unable to access the Folder in dataset https://TENANT.sharepoint.com/sites/MY-GROUP/. Ensure that you have the right Permissions.",
  "source": "https://beotalk.sharepoint.com/sites/MY-GROUP/_api/web/GetFolderByServerRelativeUrl('/sites/MY-GROUP/Shared%20Documents/Windchill%2010.2%20upgrade')/Files?$filter=TimeCreated%20ge%20datetime'2016-07-13T16:26:04Z'&$orderby=TimeCreated,Name",
  "errors": []
}

I am in the Owner role for my specific Group as well. The group I have tried on is set to be private (not public)

@Anonymous Yes, send me your flor ID as well.

I will create an incident for this.

Thanks

Btw do you mind to check your SPO connector in "My Connection" page?

Check whether it is still active.
