HELP!! Triggering help with Choices (option sets)

Hello- I am having troubles getting my flow to trigger. It's a basic request to send an email if one of these options are selected on a form but not able to get my flow to trigger off of a choice (option set) value.

For example, looking at the below option set, once Contract Ended is selected, we want to send an email out.

I am having a hard time setting up my flow with this filter criteria.

Does anyone know how to trigger a flow when an option is selected from an option set on a form?

@abm

Thanks!

Hi @Shap1,

You should be able to see the value when you click the three dots next to the option and click view more. This will show the actual value of the choice option. See the screenshot below.

Btw, for the OR operator you could use this in your row filter:

hc_assignmentendreason eq 948050001 or hc_assignmentendreason eq 948050004

Hi @Shap1,

You should be able to use a column and row filter for this. With the column filter you can make sure it only triggers the flow if a specific column value is changed. With a row filter you can check for specific values.

Below is an example of the Account entity together with the ownershipcode field (which is also a choice field).

In this example I am using the code of the option. You can find those values in the settings of the column.

Thanks for you reply @Expiscornovus. However, I do not see that as an option for a number.

Hi @Shap1,

You should be able to find the choice values when you click the edit choice button in your first screenshot.

Hi @Expiscornovus - This is what I'm getting:

Do not have numbers like yours.

I also am seeing this from the old dynamics:

Hi @Shap1,

Those values in the second screenshot are the correct values. So, HCP Termed Contract will be:

hc_assignmentendreason eq 948050001

Hello @abm

So yes, I did click there and got below. Not any numbers like stated above. I also tried
_hc_assignmentendreason_value eq '948050001' but wasn't certain because it was not a guid.

What @Expiscornovus  said seemed to work!

However, adding another value (Contract Ended as 948050004) to filter from with an or statement did not seem to trigger to send off the email:
