HTTP POST method excel table populate

Hello All,

Hope someone can help.

Receiving the below error when using the HTTP POST method in office 365 groups - Trying to add rows to excel file.

Unable to read JSON request payload. Please ensure Content-Type header is set and payload is of valid JSON format.

Could anyone point me in the right direction please

Steps

  1. PBI button clicked
  2. Filter array for specific values
  3. Parse the filter array output to be able to select the values dynamically
  4. Select raw values
  5. POST method - HTTP action - Failing

Many Thanks

Hi @egornua1

Are there any specific reasons you not using the default Excel Connector from Power Automate?

Thanks

Thanks for the quick response.

Experiencing random error using the excel connector - "No table was found with the name" - when the table is there and its processed previous records, it just fails for some records randomly. other times the file processes fine. Also the processing time and the file locking experienced is why i tried the POST method.

Cheers

thank you.

Tried that and errors out - Malformed JSON body - Review the request body and fix any malformed JSON. SyntaxError: Expected ':' after property name in JSON at position 14
