HTTP spaces encoding in URI

Hi all,

I have an issue with the 'Send HTTP' connector with how it is handling a space in the URI.

One of the arguments in the URI, a filter, requires a space.

I have tried encoding this space in every way i can think of, and the action goes to retry without ever completing.

The API documentation examples all contain spaces

year(__system/submissionDate) lt year(now())

and the example URI all uses '%20' to encode this space

%24filter=year(__system%2FsubmissionDate)%20lt%20year(now())

I have tried using this in my URI string with no success.

Power Automate is automatically handling all other special char ($,=,?,etc.) that are present in the string, but not the spaces.

When i use a 'encodeUriComponent' function i get the same result, both the encoding of the space which results in '%20', and in the failure of the action card on retry.

Does anyone have any suggestions? Thankyou in advance.
