Help sending array back to PowerApps via Response

This is not the first time I have done this.  However, this time something is not right.  Seems everything is in order, but the clearcollect() on the PA side does not have anything in it.  However, the output from response is FULL of data.  I have checked it with a First() in a compose, and the array looks to be in order.  What gives?

See the excerpt.  The flow runs fine.  All green.  I just get nothing on the PA side.  The collection contains a "rowNumber" field, but no data at all.

Response output looks like this:

Hi @martinav ,

If you use first() function to get the first item from the body of Select, you will get an object instead of an array. We could see an object in the output of Compose.

Please check this blog and see if it helps:

https://powerapps.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/return-an-array-from-flow-to-powerapps-response-method/

@v-bacao-msft ,

Thanks for the reply.

The First() command was just a test to see if what I was getting was truly an array.  I am not using the output of that.  I'm using the same output that fed the First() into Response.

I did tweak my schema a bit.  THat was wrong at the time I posted it.

All of that is what I had done before in another flow.  Does not the output of response look perfect?  I still get nothing in PA except and empty

Response output looks like this.  WHats wrong with it?

Just to be sure of things, I deleted the flow from my PA, then re-added it.  It looks like the headers are coming through, but there is still no data.

Let me reframe my issue.  I have two flows.  Both are doing basically the same thing.  I build an array, then send it to PA via a Response action.  One of them works great, and has been working for 2 years.  It looks like this:

1)  This is the WORKING flow.

Schema:

    "type": "array",
    "items": {
        "type": "object",
        "properties": {
            "ID": {

            },
            "Title": {

            },
            "MD_PartNumber": {
                "type": "string"
            },
            "MD_LatestRevNumber": {
                "type": "string"
            },
            "MD_Project": {

 The data pushes into PA perfectly.

So, I emulate this method with another data set:

2)  This one does NOT work:

Response Schema:

{
    "type": "array",
    "items": {
        "type": "object",
        "properties": {
            "rowNumber": {
                "type": "integer"
            },
            "createdAt": {

            },
            "modifiedAt": {

            },
            "SS_PartNumber": {

            },
            "SS_Description": {

            "SS_Notes": {

            },
            "SS_ModifiedDate": {

            },
            "SS_User": {

        },

            "rowNumber",
            "createdAt",
            "modifiedAt",

            "SS_ModifiedDate",
            "SS_User"
        ]
    }
}

And, the output from Response:

{

"statusCode":"200",

"schema":{"type":"array","items":{"type":"object","properties":

{"rowNumber":{"type":"integer"},
"createdAt":{"type":"string"},
"modifiedAt":{"type":"string"},
"SS_PartNumber":{"type":"string"},
"SS_Description":{"type":"string"},
"SS_Notes":{"type":"string"},
"SS_ModifiedDate":{"type":"string"},
"SS_User":{"type":"string"}},

"required":

["rowNumber","createdAt","modifiedAt","SS_PartNumber","SS_Description","SS_Notes","SS_ModifiedDate","SS_User"]}},

"body":

[
{"rowNumber":13,"createdAt":"2019-10-09T14:12:18Z",
"modifiedAt":"2020-04-28T20:42:36Z",
"SS_PartNumber":"153030",
"SS_Description":"BALL-3IN SST",
"SS_Notes":"",
"SS_ModifiedDate":"2020-04-28T20:42:36Z",
"SS_User":"martin@company.com"

},

And so on....

All I get in PA are the header names.  NO data.  Same methods for both.   Same data structrue for buth.  Same method to get the data into powerapps in both.  However, I have no reason why it does not work for the second case.  I have beat on it for hours.  I NEED RESOLUTION!!

What I have tried:

1) I tried deleting the flow from the PA, and adding it back in.  I have done this MANY times.

2) I have tried limiting the dataset to just a few items.  No change in result.

3) I tried calling the working flow into this PA, and it worked.  However, its not the data I need, but it does show the app is not corrupted.

4) I have done a "Save As" on the flow and gave it a different name.  I imported that into my PA.  Same null data result.  Headers only.

Hailp!

Hi @martinav ,

Since Flow can successfully execute and return 200, it seems that there is no problem with the configuration of Flow. From the screenshot you shared, I don't see any errors.

Please consider whether there are any configurations in PowerApps that do not meet the expectations, please refer to this blog or compare your previous successful cases.

https://powerapps.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/return-an-array-from-flow-to-powerapps-response-method/

I'm afraid I am not able to give a suitable solution for the time being.😥

@v-bacao-msft ,

I ruled out power apps earlier when I mentioned I used my "working" flow into the same app.  That one returned data.  This one does not.  There has to be something wrong in the data.  There are even WAY more records returned in the other flow.  That was never an issue, regarding number of records.
