Help syncing SharePoint DL folder with OneDrive folder

Hey,

I've been able to create a flow that copies a file from a particular Sharepoint DL folder to a OneDrive folder successfully. But I'd like this OneDrive folder to essentially be a mirror of the Sharepoint folder, so I'm trying to create another flow that deletes a file from OneDrive when deleted from Sharepoint.

But... I'm not having much luck and keep getting:

{
  "status": 400,
  "message": "The file id is not valid.",
  "source": "api.connectorp.svc.ms"
}

I'd love some assistance if this is possible please?

Thanks

Re: Help syncing SharePoint DL folder with OneDrive folder

Hi @DMurton,

Could you share a screenshot of your flow configuration?

I assume that you have two flows, flow1 is used to create a file from SharePoint library to OneDrive folder, flow2 is used to delete file in OneDrive folder when it is deleted from the SharePoint library.

I have made the following test which works fine.

Add the SharePoint trigger When a file is deleted.

Add the action Get file metadata using path. Fill in File Path likes below.

In the action Delete file, select the dynamic content Id for File filed from the previous action.

Please check the following screenshot for more details.

Mabel

Hi @DMurton,

I guess that you have missed a “/” in the file path field.

The input of File Path field on the run details should be likes below:

Please try again with it.

Re: Help syncing SharePoint DL folder with OneDrive folder

That worked thanks!

I ended up having to put '/foldername/' first, then it worked fine.

I am trying to create the same flow but having some difficulty. Would you mind sharing your setup for creation and deletion? sdp@cokerlaw.com

Thank you!!

Re: Help syncing SharePoint DL folder with OneDrive folder

Hopefully this is helpful.

I will say that it worked for a while but then became intermittently problematic. I've ended up using a different method (not flow based).
