Help with Multiple Approvals

Good morning,

Over the past week, I have been trying to create a flow with one of the SharePoint lists I've created for Multiple approvals, but I am getting stuck with the second part of the approval. I have created a Visio of the setup I need and will be posting the photos of my Flow and Visio. If anyone can assist me with this that would be amazing. Thanks for your time and assistance.

With the flow, the first part is when the user creates the job request form, if he or she is a VP then the request will proceed to HR for review and then onto the final approval for the President. If the user who creates the request is not a VP then we will proceed to send it first to the VP of that department then follow along with the HR review and then final approval from President.

  1. How do you know if a person is a VP?  We have a SharePoint list with this already
  2. If the requestor is not a VP, you say you want to "send it first to the VP of that department".  Its all done through a Sharepoint list (multiple SharePoint lists) that generates the department of the user.

Can you describe the problem you are facing when executing this flow?

As far as I understood, you have two scenarios:

A-VP requesting approval (a single approval needed)

B-not VPs requesting approval (two secuential approval needed)

Is scenario A not working? Is scenario B not working? In the latter case, is first approval not working? is second approval not working?
