Help with 'ShowAs' in a condition

Hi there!

I'm in progress of building my first Flow. What i want to do is this:

1: When i add or edit an appointment or meeting in my personal calendar

2: the flow should check (condition) for the "Show as" status

3: if it is "out of office"

4: Then Create a Group event

I'm currently stuck at 2. I can't seem to get the condition working. When testing i get "Not specified" on the condition.

The condition is written as follows: @contains(triggerBody()?['ShowAs'], 'X')

The 'x' is just a placeholder. I have tried: Out of office, out of office, Fraværende (language set to Norwegian) and fraværende.

Any ideas hos to use the ShowAs condition correctly?

Re: Help with 'ShowAs' in a condition

Hi @JonathanHB2,

It seems that the return value of dynamic content Show as is a number. Per my test, Free will return 0, working elsewhere will return 4, busy will return 2, etc.

Before using the Condition, please add a Compose action to get the return value of the status, then use the value in the condition, I have made the following test and it works fine.

Hope it could be a reference for you.

Re: Help with 'ShowAs' in a condition

Hi @v-yamao-msft

Thank you for the solution! Now I have my first flow up and running!

Your solution solved the problem. The "Out of office" number is 3, so the condition "@equals(triggerBody()?['ShowAs'], 3)" gives me exactly what I want.

In case others are looking up this problem: I was originally using the "When a event is created, changed or updated" trigger, which I could not get to work, instead of "When a new event is created (V2)" as @v-yamao-msft used in the solution.
