Help with automated mails with attachment

Hi all,

I was wondering if anyone could help me with the below.

I want to create a flow triggered with a button to send out an automated mail to certain persons with an attachment.

The problem is that there is a file attached, but the files become corrupt. I was hoping someone could help me out to attach a correct file.

So i came up with the following:

I first locate the file i want to attach with the "Find files in folder" action.

Find files in folder.png

This gives me the correct file in the output. so that part at least works.

After that i set up the automated email:

The output looks like it worked. The email was sent perfectly and there was an excel file attached with the same name as the original file. The only thing is, is that every attachment is corrupt.

WHO CAN HELP? 🙂

Re: Help with automated mails with attachment

Hi @MVB1,

It seems like you want to multiple files as attachments in the Email, right?

There are many posts about how to convert files into attachments in community,  you could refer to them firstly:

Re: Help with automated mails with attachment

Sure @MVB1  you need to add get file content and pass the id file identifier.

Re: Help with automated mails with attachment

Hi @ChristianAbata,

Sorry, i'm still pretty new with Power Automate, so perhaps i ask a lot of newbie questions.

I've added in the get file content, which automatically went in an "Apply to each", but i still have no File Content as an option for the attachment. I also can't select this "Apply to each" as an output to be used in the mail.
