Help with "Invalid Template error"

Hello.

As the title suggests i am having the folowing error " InvalidTemplate. Unable to process template language expressions in action 'Obter_ID_Tarefa' inputs at line '1' and column '2795': 'The template language function 'int' was invoked with a parameter that is not valid. The value cannot be converted to the target type.'. "

The flow works the folowing way so far:

When a event on outlook is changed  it needs to update the same event on planner ( previous created from planner to outlook flow), it gets  the id lenght and then converts the lenght to the id.

Note the id of the planner event (on outlook) is on the tittle for example: "title test (id)"

The flow is build as folow

print 4.PNG

On obtain id lenght the the sub is :

sub(sub(indexOf(triggerBody()?['subject'],')'),indexOf(triggerBody()?['subject'],'(')),1)

On the obtain task id the int is:
int(substring(triggerBody()['subject'],add(indexOf(triggerBody()['subject'],'('),1),variables('TamanhoID')))

The program does get value on the "get id lenght" but failt to work on get task id.
PRINT 5.PNG

The task on outlook looks like this
print 2.PNG

name(id planner task)

Is there any way to fix it if so how?

Hi there.  So, if I'm reading this right, the Task ID is not an integer (number).  Try changing the variable type to string, and removing the int() from your expression.  So it might look like this:

substring(triggerBody()['subject'],add(indexOf(triggerBody()['subject'],'('),1),variables('TamanhoID'))

If the original value from Outlook is "batata(hh_haEsmd0esimK0k5QgY5cADxjU" and the "hh_haEsmd0esimK0k5QgY5cADxjU" part is the ID, then you could also just use Split() to grab everything after the "(".  Here's a video on that.

Hope that helps.

Hey @edgonzales  thank you for helping i've tried to change it to sub string and at the moment the error changed and it's requiring in fact interger.

print 6.PNG

It is in fact reading only the id of the task, so i'm not actually figuring out what the problem is

Hello @Anonymous

In your expression you have written:
int(substring(triggerBody()['subject'],add(indexOf(triggerBody()['subject'],'('),1),variables('TamanhoID')))

I believe the part with ‘(‘)
Is causing the issue.

I am trying to collect the feedbacks from forums and ended up getting this error. does anyone know how to resolve this ?

The execution of template action 'Apply_to_each_2' failed: the result of the evaluation of 'foreach' expression '@items('Apply_to_each')' is of type 'Object'. The result must be a valid array.

Here is the actual flow

Below error is observed

@RangerZ

Hi there.  The thing that you dropped in the top Apply to Each (the "Body" from the RSS feed) is not an array (or "List") of things.  There may be another thing called "Value" that you can use instead.

If that doesn't work, try starting a new thread and we can take a deeper look.
