Hi,

I'm looking to create a flow that does the following:

1. When a file is created in a sharepoint library
2. get the 'created by' details
3. send an email from a shared mailbox with the 'created by' info

I've managed steps 1 & 3 ok without issues however I'm struggling to get the 'created by' info to add into the email.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Hi @thegnic,

Please try to use the trigger When a file is created (properties only) instead of When a file is created in a folder.

From the trigger When a file is created (properties only), we could get many properties of the file, including “Created by”. However, we couldn’t extract dynamic content for File content. So if you would like to get file content of the file, please add action Get file content.

I have made the following test, please check the screenshot for a reference.
