How do I pass a library or dictionary to a "Contains" function?

I'm trying to build a flow that will notify me if certain keywords show up in the Subject line of a email. Rather than make a long series of if statements it looks like I should be able to pass an array, dictionary, etc to the contains function as a value.

I'd like to have a separate text file or Excel file that has the list of keywords so I can update the list without needing to change the Flow.

How would I go about passing a file to the contains function?

Re: How do I pass a library or dictionary to a "Contains" function?

Hi @JesseM,

Could you please share more details about your requirement?

Do you want to check if the new arrived email's subject contains a keywords in the excel table?

If you want to check if the new arrived email's subject contains a keywords in the excel table, please share more details about the excel table so we would try to provide a proper workaround for you.

Best regards,

Alice

Re: How do I pass a library or dictionary to a "Contains" function?

I'm checking to see if the email is from a list of senders first and if it is I want it to compare against a list of keywords.

I put the keywords into the first row of a Excel file that is otherwise empty but I can restructure the Excel file however it best suits the Flow. It doesn't even have to be an Excel file, I could do a flat text file seperated by commas, semicolons, etc whatever would make it easier.

I'm open to any suggestion that allows me to check the Subject of an email to see if it contains a list of keywords.
