How do I send a form within Flow? More details....

OK, I have figured out how to save a form's results to a SP List. Happy. 🙂

I also have a  flow that sends out emails to users on a person column row a row ( via ID)

But  how do I include a Form ( MS Forms) along with the "send an email" above so that I can relate the responses from the Forms to the correct Row, ID or Title on that SP List.

Right now when a form is filled out, the responses sent back create a new row to a new ID.
I would like the responses to update column(s) with the the same ID( row) the flow was sent with.
Is there a way to do that please?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Hi @MikeRooker,

The only way to send Form is by sending a link, the Form link you could extract by clicking the Send button. Then inset the link into the Email body:Annotation 2020-03-30 134933.png

There is no way to monitor the response, however, you could filter out the row from the SharePoint list according to the Responder Email to update item that the Email address belong to:Annotation 2020-03-30 152825.png

Hi @MikeRooker

If I understood correctly you want to update form responses back to SharePoint by ID? Why not create an email field or something in the list. From the From response you could get the user email then update the list using the email. Is that work for you?

Thanks

Hey there abm, yes that is a good idea and thank you. However maybe I didn't ask correctly.

How do I send a form to users in flow?

The recipients ( users with emails ) are pulled from a SP list

Here is my flow that takes all the users in a column, adds a semicolon, so I can send the email to the users all at the same time.

Now how and where (using what action) do I send a form that I had created ( using Forms ) to those users?
(That is the most important thing to me)

Then I have to figure out how to write the response ( yes or no), etc to the same SP list I got the user email from.
I can't just use the email as a guide to send back the responses because it is based on the ID or the name of the Title that those users belong to.

Thanks again for any help.

Did my question make sense?
Please let me know.

Thank you @ v-litu-msft. I thought there may be another way.
Would you please tell me if there is a way to add a parameter of sorts when sending the form to the effect that a field in the sent form has a "preloaded value"? It would be great to be able to add an ID number associated to the "Send To " to the form.

Thanks again!

Hi @MikeRooker,

As far as I know, there is no way could do it, sorry.
