How do i read a PDF file and get it as output in a String?

Hi all,

As the subject suggests, is it possible to read a PDF file in flow and get it as an output in a String?

Any help would be nice, thanks!

Hi @DiontenWolde ,

1.You could use the "Recognize text in an image or a PDF document" action in the AI Builder connector to recognize PDF document text. Please refer to this link: Use the text recognition prebuilt model in Power Automate - AI Builder | Microsoft Docs

2.Apart from the AI models, you could use OCR services (from Microsoft or other third parties) which is premium connectors and get the text from the PDF document. Please refer to this link: Encodian - Connectors | Microsoft Docs
