Could you give more information about your requirement?
If you want create a new task after a task completed, you can use the When a task completed trigger.
If you want to create a new task after a task is timeout and not completed, you just do like you do.

This is creating them all at once I am needing it to only create one task at a time. So basically you have a list of tasks that I want is to have one be open then if you close that one and complete it the next task will appear.

If that so, you can create the Flow with trigger that When a task is completed, create a new task, use the value from the completed task Start Date is now, and End Date is 7 days later:
