How to add a PNG or JPG image format to an email from a manual trigger

Hellpppp!

Is it possible to add a file as a PNG or JPG to a email (Action SEND AN EMAIL), instead of having to select "open this file with" option on the receiver end.

Hello @AB1,

I was testing it and also trying to dig in Flow forum. It seems like it was somehow possible to attach image directly into body of email, but it is not now. The only way how to add image is as attachment.

I tried to send image as attachment to Outlook or Gmail the preview is displayd. But you have to name it with .jpg or .png like on screenshot.

Hello @AB1,

If you mean and I hope you do, to insert image directly into body of email. There is described solution for this - https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/General-Flow-Discussion/insert-picture-outlook-body-message/td-p....

There is need to switch to HTML format of email.

Hope this will help.

Screenshot 2019-01-11 at 15.05.47.png So where it says FILE CONENT i want it to send a email with the file i attached but as a Jpeg or a PNG rather then a textfile.

These images will be different each time - i will be attaching them from my phone to a trigger button which i want to be sent as part of a email as a image

Thank you this worked perfectly!

I'm looking to attach an image from a submitted ArcGIS Survey123 survey, but am running into issues as I don't know how to point it to that piece of dynamic content to attach it, do you have any idea how to work this @vecerpa ?

Hi @AB1 ,

We could use the following expression to get filename:

triggerBody()?['file']?['name']

Please check this article:
