How to delete Office 365 calendar event which created by other user

I am building an powerapps which would trigger flow to create event. That's ok. The situation is User A requests a leave, User B approves. I used Approval flow and another inapp flow such that User B can approve via approval email (method1) or he can approve by clicking button in the powerapps (method2). No matter which way, an event would be created in O365 calendar. By method 1, event is created by User A; By method 2, event is created by User B.

Then User A might want to cancel the leave request, such that the Office 365 event should also cancel. But, I found no way to cancel a event that is created by User B by method 2.

Any suggestion would be great help. Really struggled about the permissions problems and flow connection credentials. Cannot find any document explain in detail.

Re: How to delete Office 365 calendar event which created by other user

Hi @mandy2018,

First of all, we need to understand why the person who created the event is different after the two methods are approved.

In your Flow, User B is just Approver, and the Event he created doesn't seem to make sense.

In general, the creator of the event depends on the account configured by the action connection, and no other configuration can change the creator.

Could you provide a screenshot of your Flow configuration?

In addition, if User A cancels the request, what process do you create to cancel the event.

Please provide more details and we may provide a proper workaround for you.

Re: How to delete Office 365 calendar event which created by other user

Hello @v-bacao-msft,

Thanks for replying.

Reason why person who created the event is different after the two methods are approved, because in the scenario User A requests leave so he triggers Flow A for approval, User B approves via email (method1) is just continues the flow A. While User B approves in app (method2), user B triggers Flow B.

Flow A uses User A account connection, Flow B uses User B. Both flows eventually create event. That's why the events are created by different users.

Flow A:

Capture21.PNGThe above is till approved -> then created event. To cancel the request such that to cancel the event is next stage, I have not built. I did little try, but I do not know how to delete Office 365 calendar event which created by User B by FlowB. That is the topic question.
