How to enter e-mails outside my domain in V3 "when new e-mail arrives" trigger?

Can't enter arbitrary e-mail address into the "From:" field of the V3 incoming e-mail trigger. That is - I can enter it, but as soon as I navigate to another step in the flow it is gone, it is not saved and doesn't work. Only addresses from within my domain that do resolve to a name are processed ok. This is ridiculous, since I want to filter our certain incoming invoices and those come from an outside e-mail address.

How to enter any address that I want there? It worked in V2 correctly!

Apparently, this is a bug that still needs to be fixed. Please see "From" filter not saving in "When a new email arrives" flow:

Hi @Emin

There is a work around for this.

Set the trigger condition under the trigger step. Click settings.

Click settings and set the trigger conditions

@equals(triggerOutputs()?['body/from'],'yourexternalemailaddress@gmail.com')

Extend the conditions by OR and AND operators.

I have tested this and worked for me.

@ekarim2020  thanks for point out this is a bug. Hopefully it will be fixed soon.

Thanks

Thanks for the workaround. @abm - are you sure this was filed as a bug? Maybe I should raise a service ticket anyway just to make Microsoft aware a fix to this is badly needed?

Hi @Emin

I tried the same and couldn't save the flow successfully with outside domain email address. Looks like a bug to me. If needed please create a support ticket.

Thanks
