How to update a business process flow content (CDS) based on approval

Hello everyone,

I build a simple business process flow with CDS.

In CDS I use a default column called "approval status" which is Choice type (not-submitted, submitted, approved and rejected).

In flow I use a approval connector and want to update this column based on the approval outcome.

I also set a business rule that when user confirm submit the request then set this "approval status" to "submitted".

The issue is it doesn't update this column (content) when the approval succeed.

I do check the result and show below:

Looks like the flow and approval do succeed but still it won't show the update in the form

 

Can anyone help me with this?

Problem solved, it's the business rule I set:

originally I use "set value" and set approval status to submitted when submitted,

now it should be "set default value" as the value can't be changed if use "set value".
