Re: I need to send e-mail alerts based on dates stored in Sharepoint lists

Hi DAGEM,

How is the Date column created in your list? I assume that it should be Date only.

Before using the formatDateTime function, you should know the date format in your list.

Please consider to use Compose action to get the format of the date column. You could create a simple flow likes below. In my case, it returns ‘yyyy-MM-dd’.

According to your scenario, create a flow to send an email when the date is equal to today.

I configure the Condition using the function: @equals(items('Apply_to_each')?['Date'], formatDateTime(utcnow(),'yyyy-MM-dd'))

Hope this could be a reference for you, please try it on your side and feel free post back if you need more help.
