IF FUNCTION SYNTAX

Hello,

I have an SP List with data that will be used to merge into a word file. One of the fileds may contain "NULL" as the value stored. I would like the flow to evaluate and if "NULL" is the value then the flow should return a sigle space " ".

My expression currently looks as follows:

  • if(equals(parameters('Address3'),'NULL'),'',parameters('Address3'))2019-04-16_15-47-01.jpg

I am either getting invalid expression upon attempting to insert or when running the flow erres out stating invalid refrence:2019-04-16_16-00-16.jpg

Am I missing something? I was using brackets at first but then moved on to logic apps function refrence rather then flow conditions experessions language to define the action where I understood the brackets could be left out?

Many thanks in advance for any help.

Re: IF FUNCTION SYNTAX

Hi @NickSz ,

Do you want to check if the vale is null then return a single space?

Please try to configure your function likes below:

if(equals(triggerBody()?['Email'],''),'',triggerBody()?['Email'])

I have made a test and the function will return a single space if the value is null.
