We have a set of stored procedures in Azure database which needs to be run on daily basis, so we created a flow to run them and have set them in asynchronus pattern and Timeout as 60minutes (PT60M). One of the stored procedure needs around 20-30 minutes to complete its execution as it involves huge data manipulation.
But when flow is run, we are confronting 'Gateway Timeout' issue as below :
In Failure Summary :
"Execution Timeout Expired. The timeout period elapsed prior to completion of the operation or the server is not responding"
and like this :
Is there any way to increase the Gateway Timeout , so that execution of stored procedure could be allowed for specified timeout period ? Or any other way to resolve this issue. Any help is greatly appreciated.
May you take this documentation on “Troubleshooting the On-Premises Data Gateway” for a reference:
It seems that you could try to determine the duration of a query.
Please check the doc for more details.
Thank you for the reply. The documentation suggested was for on premises. But in our case database is in cloud , Azure SQL to be precise. How we can achieve to increase the query execution time for Azure SQL database ?
I've had the exact same issue for a couple weeks. I've tried everything I can think of... My sproc only takes about 5 minutes to run though and it still times out.
Is there any news about this point?. I have a stored procedure in Azure SQL and it takes about 20 minutes to finish, but when I run the task in flow it onli last 10 minutes an the process stop.
Facing similar issue. My query is very simple querying against Azure DB but takes lot of time and finally gives error message saying "connection timed out or server not responding"
