Individual Approval flow

Good Morning,

I am building one of my very first flows and am struggling. I want to  create a stepped approval flow so that we can see on each one where the approval is in the process and because it is sent to entire teams we just need 1 to approve rather than all in that team but need 1 person in each team to approve.

I have got the approval working until the very end or when someone rejects its.

The idea is that when somebody receives

the approval and can check and edit the document once they have made changes they then have the option to approve or reject it.

If they reject the file it moves the file to a another folder named "Not Approved" and sends an email. If they approve the document and it moved to the next department and so on. When it gets to the last department they and they approve it moves it to an "Approved" file and then sends an email.

My issue I am finding is that if somebody still has the file open it cannot be moved. Is there any way I can get around this or improve the flow all together.

I have put some screenshots of the flow below.

Thanks

Lewis

Re: Individual Approval flow

Hi @lewis_ward1 ,

There is no any solution for this issue since the Move file action in flow would run fail when the file is opened by someone.

You should make sure the file is not opened by anyone when the Move file action runs.
