Infinite email loop with auto reply

Hi,

I have a task to setup an automatic email reply for a shared mailbox. Thanks to the link belows i was able to achieve that

https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/General-Flow-Discussion/Automated-Response-to-Sender-Shared-Mail...

My question now is in regards to potential infinite email loops. This is in regards to spam emails or even out-of-office emails. For example,

  1. spam email arrives to Shared Mailbox
  2. MS Flow sends a reply email to the spam email address
  3. No valid mailbox from spam email address, email rejection / error goes back to Shared Mailbox
  4. MS Flow A will auto respond

Could this actually happen?

Hi @mark1989,,

As is refered in the link below:

https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/General-Flow-Discussion/Infinite-email-loop-with-auto-reply/m-p/...

Are there any special words in the spam emails or event out-of-office emails?

If there are certain special words in these emails, please consider adding a Condition to filter the emails.

The condition could be configured as Subject or Body contains specific words such as "No valid mailbox", and if yes, do nothing, if no, reply to the email automatically.

The screenshot should as below:

Best regards,

Alice
