Integrating PowerApps text box value to Flow

Hello all!

Quick summary... I have managed to convert forms into PDFs, save them to a specific file location, thru Flow.

I have now been asked if I can save them to specific SharePoint sites for the individual project number, based upon a dropdown in the app. The app asks for a project number, and the sharepoint folder location shows up in a text box.

Is it possible to get the contents of that textbox from the text box into the flow to save the document at that location?

Thanks!!

Re: Integrating PowerApps text box value to Flow

Hi @bgordon ,

Do you want to save the file to specific SharePoint library based on the location shows up in a text box?

You could just set the Folder Path as Ask in PowerApps, then on the app, add the flow on a button and give required value for each parameter.

I have made the following flow for your reference.

1.PNG

Then add the flow on a button and configure the function likes below. Then when the button is clicked, a file will be created into the sub folder Test under a library.

2.PNG

Best regards,

Mabel

Re: Integrating PowerApps text box value to Flow

I can't, in reality, mark this as the solution, due to the fact that I am struggling with SharePoint permissions. Our IT department is working on them, and I will update when they get the SharePoint issue resolved.

Thanks though!!

Re: Integrating PowerApps text box value to Flow

Okay... FINALLY figured this out. You can't save to the link, you have to specify the folder path.

I have everything working now. Thanks all!!

Duh, it even specifies Folder Path. I was missing something so simple...   😞
