Interacting with 302 response to HTTP GET action in flow

I'm using the HTTP action to make a get request to a URL.  The URL provides a 302 response, which causes the HTTP action to fail and my flow to stop.

I would like to get the location out of the response and continue with my flow.

Can anyone suggest a solution?

Re: Interacting with 302 response to HTTP GET action in flow

Hi @menkema

Directly you cannot allow the flow to consider 302 as a valid response and move forward with it.

As a workaround, you can create an action to initialize variable to fetch the value out of the response and you need to configure the run after of that action as:

MicrosoftTeams-image (71).pngMicrosoftTeams-image (72).png
In the value of this variable you can collect the response location. If you can share the schema of the returned response, we can help you with the formula to get the location out of it.

After the last action on the retry, you can add a terminate action and configure a status code of your choice.

Hope this Helps!
